    4worldlovers: Blondie Bakes closes its doors on the 14th of January, 2023, after nearly 9 years of baking.

    If any of you have had even a 5-minute conversation with me, you’ll know that I LOVE the idea of changing things up! It’s what inspires me to grow - daring to take the leap and figuring it out along the way. If these past two years have taught us anything, it’s that it’s okay—dare I say even healthy—to change direction toward the next meaningful experience.

    With that, I have chosen not to renew Blondie Bakes’ lease in Kauppakeskus Citycenter. We will be closing our doors at the end of the day on the 14th of January, after nearly 9 years of having the privilege of being in service to our customers and our employees.

I was not disappointed. I ordered a vanilla cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting. When the cake was served and everyone took their first bite, there was silence. People were stunned by how delicious the cake was. My son (we were celebrating his 23rd birthday) has been talking about it ever since. He said it was the best cake he has ever had. I agree!
