Petteri Ville: A calmly understated, ghibli-themed "mom and pop" styled japanese teishoku styled restaurant. The atmosphere was super calming and soothing, with casually careful decor, ghibli music and strong air conditioning. Had gyudon, came unexpectedly with miso and a very fresh salad with goma-dare. Also shichimi. Gyudon was presented in a rectangular, kind of bento box like dish. Presentation was complete and thoughtful. Flavours were full and complex, especially for an under-20e order, and quantity was filling for its price but not "mättö"" style big. Beef was tender, not a single crunch or squeak. Flavour was strenghtened sweetness of onion and richness and toastiness of beef with hints of sesame and soy sauce. Service was very quiet and unintrusive, both invested and careful to not overcare, and took to heart the idea of omotenashi especially in greetings. A comforting, healing place, will visit again as soon as opportunity calls.Kid-friendliness: Seemed like a lot of families with kids there. I think the ghibli theme and the safe atmosphere must have been the cause.

Jukka Aalto: Kiinalaista japanilaista. Ruokalistalla on ne tavalliset japanilaiset suhteellisen vaivatta tehtävät ruokalajit. Valmistuksessa jonkinlainen minimisuoritus ja kastikkeet aivan liian makeita. Nuorella hyvin ystävällisellä tarjoilijalla ei ollut paras päivä, kippasi ensin salaatin kumoon pöydälle ja sen jälkeen pois korjattavat lautaset rikki lattialle. Se toisin toi kömpelyydessään jopa hiukan sympaattisen vaikutelman. Sakevalikoima kohtalaisen hyvä ja umshukin maistui.

Mikael Laakso: Domo was a very cozy and atmospheric restaurant. Traditional Asian music played in the restaurant and familiar Japanese fairy tale characters appeared in the interior. In addition, the customer service was efficient and friendly. The location is also in a good location on Kalevankatu.The food was tasty and the portion size was appropriate. The restaurant was well suited as a meeting place, where you could get reasonably priced food. I think the restaurant's price-quality ratio is excellent, a drink and food cost around €25.I recommend the restaurant if you want good food and an atmospheric meeting place.

K V: Service was really nice but the food is overpriced and boring. I ordered the number 14. and 21. and it came with a small simple lettuce salad, a miso soup and chicken/beef. The chicken/beef was really simple and plain. The portion was quite small. The number 14. was 18,90€ and number 21. 19,90. The price is really high for something this simple.

Mestarisaari: A very cozy and atmospheric restaurant. The service was good and we were well received. The starters were delicious and the main course was fried salmon teriyaki and fried beef teriyaki. The dishes were beautifully arranged and very tasty. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an atmospheric Japanese restaurant that also offers good food!

Cristian Díaz: Horrible food and bad service. The teriyaki salmon with rice was merely scanty minced salmon mixed with damp rice. I felt cheated because it tasted as ‘good’ as canned tuna over rice cooked hastily at home. The cashier seemed surly and negligent. There were a hundred water bottles on the counter and none of em contained a drop of water. I would never come again.

Kyseessä kuitenkin ravintola missä kokemus perustuu kokin ja asiakaan vuorovaikutukseen. Ruoka oli keskinkertaista. Parempaa sushia saa monesta muustakin ravintolasta. Toinen kokki teki selvästi isommat proteiinit. Istuimme nuoremman kokin edessä ja vertailimme kateellisina vanhemman kokin annoksia. Palvelu oli hyvää. Kokemus ei todellakaan ollut käytetyn rahan arvoinen. Iso pettymys.
Rosana Eats: A bit difficult to find, as it’s tucked away behind the main restaurant upon the entrance.Otherwise this is an absolute gem! They provide an amazing Japanese omakase experience, challenging themselves to use local ingredients. They chefs do a great way of explaining each dish in detail and they had wonderful drink pairings with sake, wine and plum wine.We are seated around the bar table, just like in a traditional Japanese diner. The atmosphere was lovely and cozy and service was great too.The staff were probably a little taken aback that I brought my 4-month old baby with but were able to swiftly accommodate to our needs.Absolutely worth a try or as a gift for a loved one!

Sake 🍶 set (79€)paired with dishes was great!Latitude 25 is restaurant inside another restaurant, and you need to book a table. Entering restaurant was bit strange experience, we were kindly received at the restaurant and directed to the bar counter of another restaurant to wait, but no one asked if we wanted something to drink while waiting. Waiting time was 5-10 minutes, so no problemDining experience itself was almost flawless, I wish the waiter wouldn't touch my water glass while pouring me a drink.The chef told about the dishes and their ingredients and origins, interesting information e.g. from real wasabi. The only thing I missed would have been 1-2 more small warm dishes, now I may have felt a little hollow when I left.Hopefully we would get more Japanese food culture in Finland, and not just sushi.
Victoria: The fact that Latitude 25 is tucked inside another restaurant adds to its charm. When you step into the small room, it is suddenly as if you are somewhere else entirely. The chef explains in detail about each dish that is served and there is a lot to learn for anyone interested in Japanese cuisine. The raw materials, both local and imported, are of a high standard. The sake menu is the icing on the cake and includes flavors from several different Japanese regions in perfect combination with the different dishes.

Heidi Idman: A very unique and excellent experience in Finland. Fantastic tastes and fresh fish. This is the way sushi should always taste. The sake pairing was very nice also. Quite expensive but worth it, if you appreciate fresh and skillfully prepaired seafood.

Highly recommended for the food, the visuals, and the chef's expertise in explaining the ingredients and the process.If you drink alcohol, take the sake package. The pairing is very good.
