E MC: Over the past 10 years or so I have occasionally shopped for special items, cosmetics, and especially jewelry. At some point, I joined their customer database, as per their suggestion--and with an explanation that it is easier to keep track of receipts in case I needed this information. Today was the first time I needed to use this. I went in asking if a pair of pants I wanted to get for someone might be returnable or exchanged for store credit as I would have inevitably returned at some point to get something. The seller present said yes, no problem. I explained it was for someone who needed to try the item on. Well, I returned within 2 hours because the item did not fit 100% and also after some distressing personal news. This shop is advertised as a "Good feeling place". As soon as I reached the cashier one of the sellers met me with immediate antagonism that I was not going to be able to return the item. No politeness, no explanation. As the person I saw earlier in the day took over--she "chastised me" that normally they never do returns on sale items. Sure. However, I specifically ASKED--when I was shopping: can I return this if it does not fit. And she said yes. The drama ensued: store does not even give credit, but "paper gift cards", in 2022 day and age where I absolutely cannot keep a separate file for this sort of a thing and have an account with them anyway. I hope to give this coupon to a friend, because I have no intention of ever returning there. Finally: it was convenience/location. But all the brands they sell can be found online and I prefer to get everything directly from the creators from now on.

ぺろぺろ: サスティナブルでエシカルな商品を扱っている、エコフレンドリーでお洒落でかわいいお店です。雑貨屋やお洋服の他に、ちょっとしたカフェも併設されていました。フィンランドのブランドのアクセサリーなどもあって、自分用や特別な人へのプレゼントなどにぴったりです。商品が高いという声もあるかもしれませんが、フェアトレード商品などを扱ってる店なので、適正な価格と言えます。むしろ、Sabe Massonの練り香水や、Vejaのスニーカーなど日本よりお安く買えます。お店の方も、お会計のときに商品について説明してくださったり、みなさんフレンドリーでした。

helena: Ystävällinen henkilökunta, mutta jotenkin tuotteet aika mielikuvituksettiomia. Pitkään piti kierrellä ja katsella jos joku vaate kiinnostaisi. Rakastan kuitenkin Marimekon pelkistettyä tyyliä ja jotenkin sitäkin ettei turhaa liiallista valikoimaa ole tyrkyllä. Silti joku juju mielestäni vielä puuttuu.?
