Digital Voice Finland Oy (Ltd.) was founded in 1994 for computer-based digital audio recording and editing. The most up-to-date software and equipment are used to produce high quality audio for our customers.


The main facility is a fully equipped recording studio, including the industry standard audio workstation: Digidesign/Avid ProTools. Two smaller edit/master stations also using ProTools-systems make it easy to allocate studio resources.

Since 1994 Digital Voice has produced more than 1 million voice prompts. In partnership with Tecnomen we have been responsible for recording and editing large voice prompt sets for numerous teleoperators all over the world.

Founder, Esko Toivonen, M. Sc. (Econ.), has more than twenty-five years of experience in recording and studio engineering. He has been one of the pioneers of digital audio recording in Finland.

A little bit about the human being behind the voice: Sue’s first professional voice experiences were gained in the late 2000s in an apprenticeship program, as a radio broadcast editor in Germany. Based in Berlin, Sue appeared on air regularly to cover the latest trends in the entertainment sector and produced radio commercials, speaking her first advertisements for several leading brands. Following her passion, Sue enrolled in further education as a professional voice actor (“Studiosprecher”) at International Voice (today named Christian Rode Sprecherschule). This shaped the beloved work Sue performs today. Upon relocating to Helsinki, Finland in 2014, Sue has worked internationally ever since. In 2020 Sue decided to start her own company: She Sounds Great.
