T C: This is an open bazaar where you can find a variety of food and souvenirs. It's a typical place to enjoy seafood and fast food options. Although I didn't try the food myself, it seems like a nice place to spend time and enjoy the fresh air.

Gareth James: Crazy busy and with that comes such a wonderful atmosphere. Finns and foreigners alike so you will hear a lot of different languages being spoken. Prices vary so be sure to shop around and look for deals. With views out over the harbour and the Presidential palace right there it is a great place to sit, relax, enjoy some wonderful food and watch the world go by
Hannu Toivanen: What has happened to one of the central attractions of Helsinki? I hadn't visited Helsinki Market Square for many many years - and now, as I happened to visit there, it looked out like streets of North Korea. Where are all people? Where are all tourists? It was a beautiful warm summer morning at 9 or 10 o'clock, and alleys between small market shops where almost empty. Market places everywhere are places where to feel the local atmosphere, to see local culture, or at least to see tourists and local people selling their stuff to tourists. But Helsinki Market Square, what a dissappointment!

Ariel Neulaniemi: Erinomainen näyttely taas. Tämäkin kuva alleviivaa, että Heurekan tapaisia paikkoja/ajattelutapaa pitäisi olla enemmän lapsen maailmassa. Eli ihan kotona, pihassa, lapsen mielessä. Tylsyys ja luovuus ovat monesti kimpassa. Valitettavasti kaikki vanhemmat eivät jaksa käydä tätä puhelimen rajoittamisen taistelua, joka kyllä kannattaisi.

T C: Both the interior and exterior of the church are truly awesome. Situated atop a hill in the city centre, the location lends a remarkable look to the church.The church forms a significant part of Helsinki's Empire-era centre and serves as a prominent landmark for those arriving by sea. It symbolizes the entire city of Helsinki. Previously known as St. Nicholas Church and Great Cathedral, this magnificent church, which now serves as the main church of the Helsinki Diocese, was finished in 1852. Adorning the roof of the church, sculptures of the twelve apostles stand as guardians of the city.
Jana Krištanová: Very monumental, the place looks the best from outside and is worth of a picture or two, mostly the symmetrical one.Inside, you can spend few minutes looking around, but unless you want to contemplate spiritually at the place, it's not worth of staying longer.What I had mixed feeling about is voluntary entrance fee at the place. There are two kiosks inside for that and I saw that at the moment when people entered the church, a security guy working at the place approached them, asking if he can help with the kiosks. I felt a bit pressured to pay the entrance fee. I did because I wanted to support the building's maintenance. But then I stayed for few minutes only, looking around and then leaving. So from this perspective, it didn't pay out.

Hannu Toivanen: Helsinki Cathedral is, I think, one of main attractions in Helsinki. And for reason - Helsinki Cathedral is a magnificent building. With its robust appearance it entices full buses of tourists, and why not Finnish tourists, too, to admire its shiny white walls and green domes. The inside of the cathedral isn't any dissappointment, either, so in my opinion, the church is absolutely worth of visit.
