The only thing to be aware of with those rooms is that there is a sky bar on site and if you are not into other people's music on the balcony then you should not book the rooms that are on top of hotels. They don't play very loudly, but enough that you end up closing the door.Walkability: The hotel is located at the end of the Esplanade over a single road so you can walk to most things in 15 - 20 minutesFood & drinks: There is an Italian restaurant directly on the ground floor plus a bar and lounge at the same time they have a sky bar which is open Tuesday to Saturday

Simon Green: We had a skysuite for a 3 night stay. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of staff to refresh plates, and plenty of fresh hot and cold options. As others remarked, rooms are a little tired and rammed with furniture, but perfectly functional and every amenity was available free of charge. Reino Nurminen: We had accidentally booked a room with a bed that was too narrow for two, which was kindly mentioned by the person serving us at check-in. We were then able to change the room very cheaply to the "courtyard" side of the hotel, which had a standard double bed.Food & drinks: Breakfast with drinks is very versatile and tasty

Riitta-Liisa Yrjölä: A lovely small and cozy wine bar. The tables are quite small, but it fit all the ordered food! Lovely wines and the waiter also knew more about wines than the name 😅. The portions were really tasty and all could be shared! A strong recommendation to come and taste the flavors and wonderful wines 👍A small minus is that the toilet space was really cramped, but luckily I didn't have to stay there for long 😂

The server could name the grapes and had some idea about the products which is even in a wine bar a plus in Finland. Food was good, good flavours, smaller portions so you should choose a few. Overall a good experience. Would return.

Old review down below.We had the 5 course menu with matching wines.The price was ~100€ per person and that is pretty ok price for this kind of a place.The place has the same awesome atmosphere as last time. I love the scrubby scene they have there.The service was "pretty ok" at best. It felt like they were only working there: "This is the wine, it's from Spain and this is the grape", nothing more unfortunately. I would love to hear some specs why this wine was picked and what does it give to this food. The wines were really nice anyways!The food was really good and I loved every dish. Fish for starters, tartar etc. The main course was lovely but quantity of food was very little. The dessert was unfortunately pretty dull. Dessert wine was lovely tho!I could recommend this place, really! But the service could be more customer oriented and I'm 62kg guy who normally eats very little, and I was still somewhat hungry after 5 course menu. Casa Pausa and Casa Haga have an incredible quality menu that seems to rotate every few weeks. Maybe the selection might be look short for some but hey usually people eat just a dish or two.. the Wine selection is great and the atmosphere very unique. The restaurant is located in a very convenient spot with a parking and train station just 2-4min away. The building is dated but once inside you discover the cosyness. What is important is the inside they say... They have also live music from time to time. Amazing restaurant at Pitäjänmäki. Well done!!Vegetarian options: No many but couple, also they do more if you call few days in advance..Parking: 2 hours free at the train station parking.. just 1 min away..Kid-friendliness: Seems to be kid friendly too.
